¿Sigue rindiendo estudiar? Educación, ingresos laborales y desigualdad en Chile, 2006–2024

Este artículo analiza la relación entre educación, ingresos laborales y desigualdad en Chile entre 2006 y 2024, a partir de datos CASEN. Mediante una ecuación de Mincer y un análisis de brechas de ingreso en pesos constantes, se muestra que la educación terciaria conserva una ventaja salarial persistente, con retornos entre 10,4% y 12,7%. Sin embargo, dicha ventaja no garantiza movilidad ascendente sostenida: los ingresos reales de los titulados retroceden después de 2015 y presentan alta dispersión interna. Se concluye que la educación no ha perdido valor, pero ha cambiado su función: opera crecientemente como credencial defensiva en un mercado laboral segmentado
