Abstract

This article analyzes the labor policy of the second post dictorial government in Chile, that of Eduardo Frei Ruiz-Tagle, and its base impact in the union movement. Together with presenting the investigators and theoretical approaches, points of view of relevant stakeholders are incorporated and that are linked directly to the issue and a series of interviews held with unión leaders on a national level, academics, political party leaders and former government authorities.
