Abstract

David Spener reviews the book What to Remember, What to Teach, by linguist Teresa Oteíza. The book makes a significant contribution to our understanding of how the teaching of the history of the human rights abuses committed under Chile’s dictatorship from 1973 to 1990 has evolved in the years since the return to democratic rule in the country.
