This review examines the relationship between authorship and the artistic element. Based on a study of the poems in this collection, it is undeniable that there is a reflection between author and work, and consequently, a continuous driving force of variation. These elements are also inherent in the play on ambiguity; therefore, the condition of naming—in life and art—remains perpetually open. In light of the author’s biographical background, this review explores her work, particularly its underlying layers. While these layers reveal a unity in their abstraction, they also rekindle literary memory and the experience of the self as tradition through their multiple meanings.
