Estrelas vermelhas? Desenvolvimento astronômico na Guerra Fria no Chile

Neste artigo, analisamos a presença científica da União Soviética no Chile durante a década de 1960, especificamente no campo da astronomia, no contexto da Guerra Fria global. Esse caso representa um importante desenvolvimento científico vinculado ao cenário internacional, examinado a partir de uma perspectiva do Sul Global. O processo soviético é estudado com base em relatórios do Chile e dos Estados Unidos, destacando os fluxos de informação que revelam uma estrutura muito mais complexa do que a tradicional dualidade da Guerra Fria. Isso também permite observar as complexidades das relações internacionais sob a ótica da colaboração científica.
