Assignment of rights

With the submission of an article to RHSM, the authors agree to assign the ownership of the copyright to the University of Santiago de Chile. The assignment of copyright does not imply the waiver of moral rights, as these rights are non-negotiable, imprescriptible, non-attachable, and inalienable. Therefore, the ownership of moral rights will continue to belong to the authors.

The commitments assumed by the authors are:

  1. Authors agree to submit the article for evaluation under the criteria established by the editorial policy of RHSM.
  2. The article is original, unpublished, and has not been submitted for evaluation in other journals.
  3. Ethical principles of research have been preserved both in the study procedure itself and in the article.
  4. It is declared that there is no conflict of interest resulting from a relationship with any type of institution or commercial association or of another nature.
  5. Authors have evidence of the respective permissions regarding the original copyright for aspects or elements extracted from other documents.
  6. If this article is published, all author's patrimonial rights are freely assigned, and the rights of printing and reproduction by any means and form of adaptation and distribution belong to the journal's editor. It is also accepted that there is no impediment to this, assuming responsibility for any legal or other type of claim that may arise from plagiarism, rectification, or any claim.
  7. The authorship of the article is open access.
  8. The journal has the format of assignment of copyright, where the above is indicated.
