Abstract

This article presents a review at a latin american level on the need to promote the formation of advanced human capital to carry out technological management in organizations. Formative programs are observed at undergraduate and postgraduate level in which this type of training is promoted, to determine guidelines that strengthen the relevance and depth of local programs linked to this management.

Around the theories of Technological Management and Industry 4.0, challenges are posed facing academia and the socio-productive sector in terms of how to do organizational management. Among them, the digital literacy of the population, the design of undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing education programs and constant curricular updating processes are fundamental to generate human capital endowed with greater and better skills and competencies that dynamize the labor market and respond to the cultural changes of the fourth industrial revolution.
