Abstract

The present article is a systematization of the implementation of the FOSIS program, “Más Territorio”, applied in five communes of Chile during the years 2015 - 2016, which had the purpose of contributing to the overcoming of poverty. The methodology used consisted of carrying out a process of participation of different local actors based on working groups, called the Neighborhood Committee and the Institutional Committee to build a Local Development Plan. The results indicate an engagement of the population participating in the diagnosis of each territory on their needs, potential and the preparation of action projects. The initiatives selected by common agreement, were carried out a financing of local institutions that were involved in the dynamics. The discussions leads us to indicate the value of collective methodologies in social project and the emergence of a strong relationship between territorial and the community.
