La Crisis y el Estado de Bienestar: Algunas Reflexiones desde la Experiencia en la Unión Europea

Abstract

With the new century, it has changed from some euphoria about the future of world economy to a great scepticism. In the middle of the questions it is the viability, sustainability of Welfare State. The arguments show up in multiple directions: since the depreciation of results get where the Welfare State became established, until the wagers for the expansion of this one as a solution of social exclusion problems that the market does not resolve. With the context delimited and the aim definited, it evaluates the possibilities of Welfare State upholding, as is known, from the view of funding opportunities. It concludes with a reference to the responses facing the currently crisis.
