The New Public Service proposed for an Open Government

Abstract

In recent years, the discussion of an open government took different routes. As a platform for defining problems and creating solutions, collaboration becomes a transverse axis to the relationship between government and society, crossing public administration and highlighting the importance of government transformation. Open government involves the formation of new processes of understanding and provides results, in a context of uncertainty, despite living in the era of digital information. This article aims to characterize the new public service that requires an open government and future challenges.
