RHSM seeks to ensure that its publication processes are rigorous and transparent and that they are governed by the aims of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), i.e. to promote the protection of intellectual property worldwide through the cooperation of states, in collaboration where appropriate with any other international organisation, and to ensure administrative cooperation between publications. For its part, RHSM will insist on its authors to follow good research practices, to refrain from misrepresenting the results of their research and from violating copyright, so as to protect the image of the journal and not to jeopardise the trust of the journal and its scientific community.
The entire editorial and publication process of RHSM is underpinned by the principles of transparency and good practice in academic publishing established by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).
