Authorship

In this section, you will find the components that authors must consider for the preparation and submission of an article. We remind you that it is important to review the journal's scope, target audience, and the types of scientific products it evaluates before submitting an article.

Authorship

RHSM considers as an author a person who has intellectually contributed to the preparation of the manuscript submitted to the journal. Following the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), to be considered an author, one must meet the following criteria: 1. have participated in the conception and design, or in the acquisition of data, or in the analysis and interpretation of data that resulted in the article; 2. have participated in the drafting or critical review of the text.

RHSM accepts works with a maximum of three (3) authors, who must be listed from the first submission of the manuscript. It is important to clarify that people falsify authorship when they include names of those who had little or no participation in the research and exclude those who actively participated. It is the responsibility of the authors to acknowledge the contribution of all participants.
