Abstract

The present work carries out an analysis of the subject Pharmaceutical Technology that is imparted in the first year of the career of Pharmaceutical Services in the Technological Ability of the University of Medical Sciences of Camagüey, Cuba. Objective: To design a methodological strategy for the study of the extraction methods in the subject Pharmaceutical Technology. Material and methods: He/she was carried out a traverse descriptive study in the Technological Ability of the University of Medical Sciences Of Camagüey, Cuba, between September of 2017 and February of 2018. The population was constituted by the 5 professors that the community of career of Pharmaceutical Services and 39 students the first years old conform. As empiric methods the documental revision, the presentation and discussion of the topic were used in methodological meeting, he/she interviews to informants key, the techniques of storm of ideas and focal group with previous information to their members on the investigation and the objectives. Results: The obtained information threw the necessity to impart the extraction methods in the first year of the career. The topic doesn't appear in the program of study of the subject, deficit of teaching means and insufficient basic books, lack of the students' motivation for the subject. Conclusions: The strategy methodological proposal guarantees a better inclusion, impartation and orientation of the extraction methods in the subject pharmaceutical technology with relevancy, utility, and methodological scientific value.
