Abstract

The main objective of this research was to pose the ICT strategic plan for the research group of Technology Management and Innovation from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (GIGTI.UPB). The ICT strategic plan will help the research group to manage the produced or used ICT tools in daily activities, as well as, to manage and retrieve the knowledge generated within it.

The research was conducted in four phases, which include the review of the current state of the research group, the exploring of the business model of the organization, the exploring of y the IT model and the development of the planning model. The development of this project was based on the PETI methodology (for its Spanish acronym: strategic planning of the information technology) which allows to articulate the information technologies with the strategic planning.
