Abstract

The identification and measurement of Knowledge Management (hereafter KM) processes allow to enhance the intellectual capital (IC), the alignment of institutional processes and the productivity. This paper presents a proposal for a model of KM and IC for a research group formed by fourteen researchers at a Colombian university where the study was conducted through a diagnosis of the state of maturity of it processes framed within the UNE 412001 IN AENOR standard for Knowledge Management and the UNE 16002: 2006 standard for research, development and innovation (R+D+i) management. This model is crucial for integrating and structuring processes of KM generated within the group, allowing also the mapping of a set of variables in the context of science, technology and innovation, as well as providing a proposal for management actions based on the perspectives of Balanced Scorecard (BSC) and using strategy maps as means of visualization.
