Abstract

“Leadership” is one of the most common concepts used in social science, demonstrating a high practical interest, as in business, politics and in the educational world. However, the concept of leadership has suffered important changes through the twentieth century. Over the years, literature has abandoned the individualistic approach of a leader, including more and more the person or the people that are being led. The study conducted had as purpose to approach the inclusive access of a public and state university, from the methodological view of a case study. To achieve this, one of the variables studied was the leadership perceived by the program area coordinators. Key words: Leadership, PAIEP, Leader.
