Growth of technologies in Primary Health Care (PHC) in the public system of Chile

Abstract

The situation of health care in Chile requires society to bring to the fore the analysis of equity and promotion and health prevention of citizenship, based on the quality of patient care. It is for this reason that the growth of new technologies applied to primary health care should be evaluated due to primary health care is direct access to health services.

Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for health are essential tools in solving practical problems and optimize response times to patients. Besides preserving the reliability of the clinical history of patients who help with the timely delivery of care in Primary Health Care (PHC).
