Emprendimiento rural campesino: Las mujeres en la búsqueda del “buen vivir”

Introduction: the concept of "Good living", understood as an option of development itself, plays an important role in the relationship with the community and becomes the possibility of improving the quality of life. In this sense, the article systematizes the entrepreneurial experience of rural women in Villamaría, Caldas, Colombia, as a contribution to the "Good living" of their families. Method: this research followed the guidelines of the Alforja Network, which formulates a systematization proposal framed in the dialectic, systemic and holistic approaches of popular education. Results: they are organized in three phases: characterization not only of the families but also of the environment and the products; accompaniment with interdisciplinary teams supported by training and the creation of the enterprise; and sustainability and sustainability through the structuring of networks, alliances and strengthening of the brand. Conclusion: the experience reflects the capacity of women to contribute to the "Good Living" of their families, their organization and innovation. It also shows the importance of the government's role in ensuring that entrepreneurship continues and is positioned in the rural economy.
