PALIMPSESTO. Revista Científica de Estudios Sociales Iberoamericanos (ISSN: 0718-5898) accepts only original and unpublished articles in Spanish, English and Portuguese. Papers that have been published elsewhere, in whole or in part, or that are under evaluation by another publication will not be accepted.

The selection process of the contributions will be carried out in two stages. In the first stage, the coordinator of the Dossier will make a pre-selection of the papers received based on their relevance to the call for papers, the profile of the journal and their adequacy to the journal's editorial standards. In the second stage, the pre-selected contributions will be submitted to an evaluation process with the participation of external evaluators following the double blind peer review system. The author(s) in charge of the dossier commit to send a list of at least 6 expert reviewers in the subject. To begin the peer review phase, the authors of the pre-selected papers must register online on the platform and personally enter their article.

The proposal must contain:

a) Title of the dossier;
b) Brief description of the topic of the dossier;
c) Names of the authors, their respective institutional links and countries of residence; d) Name, address and country of residence; e) Brief CV of the coordinator;
e) Brief CV of the coordinator(s) and authors of the proposed articles;
f) Abstracts of the proposed articles.

The proposal must include at least five (5) original articles and a text by the organizer(s), which may be an introductory article on the theme of the dossier and its discussion, the presentation of the authors and texts that make up the dossier, or a mixture of both.

The authors of the articles should be linked to various academic institutions. The maximum participation of authors belonging to the same institution should not exceed 50%.
Finally, there should be an open call for researchers from outside the group of authors that make up the dossier proposal.
