Minimum Standards

Manuscripts submitted to Culturas Científicas must meet the following minimum standards to be considered for the editorial process:

  • Alignment with Scope and Focus: Content must align with the journal's themes and objectives as outlined in the Scope and Focus section.
  • Adherence to Author Guidelines: Authors must follow the technical specifications and formal requirements, including format, length, citation style, and manuscript structure.
  • Originality and Absence of Plagiarism: All manuscripts will be screened using TURNITIN Originality software to ensure content originality. Cases of plagiarism or self-plagiarism will result in immediate rejection.
  • Language and Writing: Texts must be written in Spanish or English with clear, coherent academic language free from grammatical and typographical errors.
  • Authorship and Originality Declaration: A statement confirming the manuscript’s originality and exclusive submission to this journal is mandatory.

Failure to comply with any of these standards may result in rejection at the initial stage or a request for revisions before proceeding with the evaluation.
