Authorship

Revista Culturas Científicas defines authorship based on the contributions made to the intellectual development of the manuscript being submitted, following the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). To be considered an author, the individual must meet the following criteria:

  1. Have participated in the conception and design of the study, the acquisition of data, or the analysis and interpretation of the research data that resulted in the article.
  2. Have participated in the writing or critical revision of the manuscript.

All individuals who have contributed to the article must be listed as authors from the moment the manuscript is first submitted. It is important to note that authors are being dishonest when they include names of individuals who had little or no involvement in the research and exclude those who made significant contributions. It is the responsibility of the authors to acknowledge the contributions of all those involved in the research.
