Ecolinguistics and ecocriticism as alternatives
Abstract
The effects and possibilities for new avenues of exploration that the concept of the Anthropocene brings into the fields of linguistic and literary studies are discussed. Ecolinguistics and ecocriticism are outlined as alternatives that embrace ecological concerns in research in linguistics and literature . To follow, this issue of the journal is presented.
