This article aims to expose and analyze one of the important topics for organizations and for those who make them up, therefore, the methodology used for its preparation is a literature review, with a descriptive scope because it seeks to understand the variables through explanation. The document addresses issues such as the healthy environment, regarding the existence of risks for workers in work areas and their consequences, from inadequate facilities to risks due to factors of physical violence. In addition, issues of psychological abuse, which do not have physical contact as such, but which also yield unfavorable results, such as the diagnosis of psychological disorder, anxiety, poor performance, depression, isolation, among others.
On the other hand, the article mentions the issue of harassment, which both men and women can suffer when working, the data presented in the document shows that Mexican women suffer harassment to a great extent compared to men. And finally, an approach to an emerging issue is made, which is sexual orientation in relation to the workplace, focused on discrimination, difficulty of adaptation and acceptance at work.
In the form there are abbreviations to consider such as the WHO, whose meaning is World Health Organization, in addition, NOM whose meaning is, Official Mexican Standards and also, the LGBTTTIQ + community, whose meaning is lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender transsexual, transvestite, intersex and queer.
