Knowledge management (KM) as a process within the organization must be understood as a set of actions that have inputs, transformations and outputs, this implies that it can be organized, measured and managed. This paper presents a diagnostic instrument to measure the level of maturity of knowledge management processes in higher education institutions, and the proposal of cultural actions associated with this level of maturity in order to contribute to organizational learning.
