Types of contributions

Palimpsesto, a peer-reviewed publication, disseminates the following types of contributions: [examples]

  • Scientific Articles: These are unpublished works that present significant results and data from completed or ongoing research in the fields of Humanities and Social Sciences.
  • Review Articles: These involve the systematization and synthesis of already published works. They analyze positions, results, and analytical associations with the merit of opening or offering new questions and perspectives for further empirical and exploratory research.
  • Essays: These are studies based on established or emerging interpretative frameworks. Scientific essays build their proposals through reflection and the challenging of these frameworks to offer new viewpoints and approaches.
  • Sources or Documents: These are unpublished works focused on providing information and critical commentary on various documentary sources and records deemed useful for the development of new research.
  • Interviews: These are works produced from the exchange of ideas or opinions through a conversation between two or more scholars.
  • Reviews: These are reviews and comments on scientific publications from the last three years.
  • Unpublished Translations: These are translations of research from languages other than Spanish that have not been published elsewhere.

Palimpsesto does not publish: abstracts, conference papers, bibliographies, institutional bulletins, news items, translations of articles already published in other media, opinion columns, or similar content.
