Authorship

Palimpsesto considers someone as an author if they have made an intellectual contribution to the development of the manuscript submitted to the journal, following the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). To be considered an author, individuals must meet the following criteria:

  1. They must have participated in the conception and design of the work, in the acquisition of data, or in the analysis and interpretation of data that led to the creation of the article.
  2. They must have been involved in drafting or critically revising the text.

Palimpsesto accepts submissions with a maximum of three (3) authors, who must be listed from the moment the manuscript is first submitted. It is important to clarify that individuals commit authorship misconduct when they include names of those who had little or no involvement in the research and exclude those who actively participated in it. It is the authors' responsibility to acknowledge the contribution of all participating individuals.
