Abstract

The Group leadership in the organizational context involves a complex and broad analysis in order to explain what role a leader has and the profile that must have to guide that followers and fulfill the objectives of a given area. There are different styles, but in the area of innovation and search for a constant adaptation in the companies of our country, the transformational leader brings together the characteristics that allow managing in a more effective way the potential of the team besides contributing to an optimum organizational climate to the interior of these. On the other hand, the current business environment imposes more and more exigencies and forces to establish innovation as an essential principle, inviting the Chilean companies to create and evolve.
