Cession of Rights

By submitting an article to Universidad y Territorio, authors agree to transfer ownership of the author's economic rights to the Universidad de Santiago de Chile. This transfer does not include moral rights, which are unwaivable, imprescriptible, unseizable, and inalienable. That said, the authors will retain ownership of the moral rights of the article.

The liabilities assumed by the contributing parties are as follows:

  • The authors accept that the article will be evaluated according to the criteria established by the editorial policy of the UT journal.
  • The article is original, has not been previously published, and is not under review in other journals.
  • The ethical principles of research have been followed both in the study and in the write-up of the article.
  • The authors declare that they have no conflicts of interest arising from relationships with commercial institutions or other entities.
  • It is guaranteed that the necessary permissions have been secured to use copyrighted material from other documents.
  • In the sole event that the article is published, the authors assign all patrimonial rights to the editor of the journal free of charge, including the rights of printing, reproduction, adaptation, and distribution in any format and medium.
  • The authors assume responsibility for any legal claims arising from plagiarism, corrections, or other conflicts.
  • The article will be published under open access.
  • By liaising with the journal, you agree to abide by this transfer policy.
