Contributions types

EstuDAv publishes three types of contributions: academic articlesreview articles, and book/thesis reviews.

1. Academic Articles: Manuscripts of up to 9,000 words that develop an original hypothesis or interpretative proposal, based on research projects. These should include an introduction that situates the significant contributions of the article within contemporary scholarship, followed by a detailed description of the methods, methodologies, and research approaches employed. Finally, the results and their contributions to knowledge generation are assessed.

2. Review Articles: These are systematic syntheses and analyses of already published works, up to 7,000 words in length. They include analytical positions, reviews of findings, and critical associations, with the merit of opening or offering new questions and perspectives for future empirical and exploratory research.

3. Reviews: Texts dedicated to postgraduate books and theses, with a maximum length of 1,500 words.

The Editorial Team will acknowledge receipt of manuscripts immediately upon submission and will inform authors of the decisions made at the various stages of the review process.
