Types of contributions

Re-presentaciones. Periodismo, comunicación y sociedad is a peer review publication, in which the following types of contributions are disseminated:

• Scientific articles: these are unpublished works that present relevant results and data from completed or ongoing research in the field of social communication, journalism, cultural studies and related areas.
• Review articles: these are systematisation and synthesis of already published products. They correspond to analyses of positions, results, and analytical associations whose merit lies in opening up or offering new questions and perspectives for further empirical and exploratory research.
• Essays: studies that are based on established or emerging interpretative structures. The scientific essay builds its proposals on the reflection and tension of such structures in order to offer new points of view and approaches.
• Interviews: works produced from the exchange of ideas or opinions through a conversation between two or more academics mainly.
• Reviews: reviews and comments on scientific production published in the last two years.

Re-presentaciones. Periodismo, comunicación y sociedad doesn't publish: abstracts, presentations at events and/or conferences, bibliography, institutional bulletins, news, translations of articles already published in other media, opinion columns or similar.
