No one can deny that authors Miguel Mansilla and Luis Orellana are, today, two of the most prominent researchers of Chilean Pentecostalism. The book we present below is not only another step in their productive academic career, but also a powerful statement that shatters several myths about evangelicals in Latin America, focusing on the Chilean context. The title of the work, Evangélicos y política en Chile 1960-1990. Política, apoliticismo y antipolítica (Evangelicals and Politics in Chile 1960-1990. Politics, Apoliticism, and Antipolitics), already denotes a fascinating discussion about religion and politics, around two elements that have increasingly become the focus of academic discussions.
