The article aims to show that the coup d’état of September 11, 1973 in Chile is inscribed within a colonial restorative matrix, whose scope traces a period that has not yet been completed today. To support this approach, the article resorts to a series of background information, both theoretical and political, whose central figure is Jaime Guzmán and his European-Hispanic-Christian interpretative framework.
