EstuDAv  provides immediate open access to its contents, as part of its institutional adherence to the principles of Open Science. That is, users can read, download, store, print, search, index and make links to the full texts of the journal. Distribution is allowed without the authorization of the author and publisher, only the mention of the source is required, as well as the authorship of the work.

The publication does not charge APC (Article Processing Charge) and adheres to the Budapest Initiative for Open Access (2002), the Bethesda Declaration (2003), the Berlin Declaration on Open Access (2003), and the San Francisco Declaration on Research Evaluation -DORA- (2012).
