Conflicts of interest
Both authors and reviewers of Culturas Científicas must promptly notify the editors of any conflict of interest in relation to their contributions and/or reviews that may imply that their work could be biased.
-
The authors must communicate any conflict in 'comments to the editor' when submitting their manuscripts.
-
The peer reviewers must declare that they do not have any type of conflict of interest in relation to the manuscripts that they are asked to review. This is part of the review process at OJS. We place special emphasis on knowing, or suspecting knowing, the identity of the author of the manuscript assigned.
In the event of any eventuality, a conflict can also be declared via official mail (revista.culturascientificas@usach.cl). The different cases that we receive will be deliberated by our Editorial Committee, adhering to its Ethical Standards and the relevant guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
