Authorship

Re-presentaciones. Periodismo, comunicación y sociedad considers an author to be a person who has contributed intellectually to the preparation of the manuscript submitted to the journal, following the guidelines of the Community on Publication Ethics (COPE). To be considered an author, they must meet the following criteria: 1. have participated in the conception and design, or in the acquisition of the data, or in the analysis and interpretation of the data in the work that has resulted in the article; 2. have participated in the drafting or critical revision of the text.

 

Re-presentaciones. Periodismo, comunicación y sociedad accepts papers with a maximum of three (3) authors, who must appear from the time of first submission of the manuscript. It is important to clarify that people misrepresent authorship when they include names of those who had little or no involvement in the research and leave out people who actively participated in the research. It is the sole responsibility of the authors to acknowledge the contribution of all participants. The addition of authors after submission is not accepted.
