Interoperability

Revista Geoingeniería forms part of the Universidad de Santiago de Chile Journals Portal and uses the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

The system incorporates the OAI-PMH (Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting), enabling interoperability and the automated harvesting of publication metadata by digital repositories, academic search engines, indexing services and other scientific information systems.

The use of open metadata standards enhances the visibility, retrieval, exchange and dissemination of the content published by the journal.
