Gender

Revista Geoingeniería is committed to promoting gender equality, diversity and equitable participation in the production and communication of scientific knowledge, in line with the institutional policies of the Universidad de Santiago de Chile.

The journal will seek a balanced composition in its editorial teams, boards and scientific committees, as well as in the selection of peer reviewers and dossier coordinators, avoiding any form of gender-based discrimination.

It will likewise promote the balanced participation of women and men as authors in its publications and, where relevant to the subject of study, encourage consideration of sex, gender and other relevant variables in the design, analysis and communication of research.

Editorial decisions will be made solely on the basis of the quality, relevance, originality, rigour and integrity of manuscripts, without discrimination on the grounds of gender, gender identity or expression, or any other personal or social characteristic.
