Submission and receipt of articles

Manuscripts must be submitted exclusively through the Revista Geoingeniería OJS platform. The submitting author must complete the required metadata for each author, including full name, institutional affiliation, city, country, email address and ORCID iD where available.

Receipt of a manuscript does not imply its acceptance for publication. Once received, the Editorial Team will carry out a preliminary review to verify its fit with the journal’s focus and scope, its compliance with editorial guidelines and the minimum requirements for academic integrity.

Manuscripts that pass this stage will proceed to double-blind peer review. Throughout the editorial process, all correspondence, submission of revised versions and editorial decisions will be managed through the OJS platform.

Submission of a manuscript implies that the work is original, has not been published previously and is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal or publication.
